Last weekend I put on a suit to shoot dancesport as the occasion was a Galaball to celebrate 50 years 1.TC Ludwigsburg. Part of this evening were the regional championships in Latin dancing of Baden Württemberg. Regional championships doesn’t sound like it is something of the highest level but with the currently ranked number 3 couple of the world it was really something to look forward to.
1.TC Ludwigsburg put together are very entertaining evening showcasing the various dance disciplines that the club has to offer. Although unfortunately their Ballroom Formation, the current German champions, was not able to perform as they were at the European Championships, they a great program with children dance, Contemporary, Jazz & Modern, Step-dance, a Ballroom couple and their Latin Formation.
In the regional championships there was a good fight going on for the places in the final that ended up being almost a one club affair, 5 out of 6 couples came from Schwarz Weiss Club Pforzheim. In the end they even took the first 5 places in final:
