We do not only do photography but also run a dance fashion atelier, V-studio dance fashion. We produce tailor-made dresses for latin and ballroom dancing, evening wear and more. For this part of our business we visited the Munich Fabric Start fair. Looking for fabrics and getting inspired. But as we are also photographers we couldn’t leave the camera at home and took the sd Quattro with us. Attached to it was the 30mm F1.4 DC HSM | Art.

BLUEZONE is MUNICH FABRIC START’s independent concept for the denim and sportswear community. Created as the first trade show specifically dedicated to denim, BLUEZONE offers a unique space for the portfolio of around 100 international suppliers.
The ALL STAR MILLS BLUEZONE (Hall 7) showcases cutting-edge denim, finishes, washes and processes of global leaders among denim, street- and sportswear brands. The CATALYZER BLUEZONE (Hall 6) presents novelties and unique denim blueprints from heritage brands with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
The KEYHOUSE in hall 5 is the innovation and competence center for textiles presenting future-oriented and business-related concepts with a highly innovative approach in a concentrated manner. This interactive trade fair format forms a backdrop for smart textiles, future fabrics and technologies with a high degree of integration in textile products and high fashion. Pioneering showcases, sustainability, new technologies and value creation processes are put in a spotlight in the context of cross-sector macro trends, rounded off by expert workshops and seminars on trends, technology, finishing and research.
The FABRICS area features more than 600 international suppliers who present their fabric innovations in all apparel categories. In two halls and an additional two floors you’ll find a complete product portfolio of directional woven and knit fabrics in wool, cotton, silkies and performance fibres. From premium quality plains to exceptional fancies to haute couture collections by renowned weavers and suppliers.
And free coffee and lunches
Yes you read that right. Freshly made espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato were for free. And every day a fresh free lunch was served. Both were very popular of course. And to top it off the first evening there is a big party which we unfortunately couldn’t attend.
